Well I lent my car to a buddy of mine so he could head to DC for the night ( I had duty) and I wasn't going to get to use it for the day, so I let him borrow it. Well he ended up getting run off the road by a white yukon.... at least thats the story I got told, and that was told to the police... no clue on its total validity but if its the story the police have, then its the official story to the insurance company. ANYWAYS... he ended up going wheel first into a brick (lets say about 2.5'x2'x4' - wdh-) mail box. Ok... i guess the work wasnt soo bad at the initial glance as they got it up on the hoist to look at it I guess they're now talking about maybe totaling it... Read more... ) ironically, I just realized that I got the car 2 years ago ... about this time of year.

Our journeys last left our Hero
dear author
he had come out of hiding to talk about his girl troubles. Those have yet to subside, they've been altered yes, but not quite removed. Things have changed significantly for this tueflehuenden, he's apparently finally filling in his body, aside from that he has lost touch with part of his body and feels numb again. Additionally he's relocated, he now is residing out side of DC, and working for the world renowned CBIRF(Google it!). Anyways he's completed the Basic course for working here - a 2 week long class that cross trains between Decontaminating patients, Triage and basic first-aide to patients down range, and rescuing techniques and some other things. And done some military training like rushes and stuff... more to come

Well, for those of you who are reading this, I congratulate you. Well have you ever met your soul mate? yes... as cheesy as it sounds its a serious question. I never really believed in them until recently. I found a wonderful girl, Karina (thats right like Katrina without the T), who I honestly is my soul mateEternal Sunshine</a>. Everyone she talked to today actually had said it too... she even sees it and said that i match Joel to a T.... and now she wants to erase us...but she wants us to work too its confusing as shit. we're done and its like the move... done and over with. I'm happy with who i've got now. So Baby Ruth I hope you're reading this and know how much I love you!!!

Ok... Well As my PTAD (Permissive Temporary Additional Duty) runs out, I figured I may as well up date whats been going on the past 2 months or whatever its been. Well MCT was well interesting. First thing you do there, for training, is throwing a grenade. Kinda fun actually. Other things were firing a lot of rounds, and a lot of bounding exercises... And enjoying MREs.

Then recently I'm at Fort Leonard Wood until March 6 (possibly longer depending on if I get hurt, or shorter if things blow up around the world). After my stay at Fort Lost in the Woods... I'm off to wherever they send me. My requests were CBRF (Chem, Bio Reaction Force - stationed outside of DC and nondeployable), then anywhere on the East Coast, anywhere overseas (most specifically Okinawa), and then West Coast. And from now on I can receive faxes and get online more often thanks to me buying the Sprint Air Card... so Please pleas please KEEP IN TOUCH!

Ok.. so I know I've "cried wolf" before, but this is very likely my last update on here before I leave. If you want to write me I suggest you add me as a friend on Myspace so you'll receive the information for mailing me. While we're on the subject this time round, I'm not scared. At least I don't feel scared - apparently to some I look nervous but I feel more anxious about leaving my friends than I do about going in. I never have been the one who's liked to leave everyone, I'd much prefer being left behind. But self growth... and all that right?
Anyways ended up hanging out with a friend who I've grown up with and fell out of contact with... Brian Varner. Not sure how many people know him or anything but... yea ran into him.... again. Him and I seem to have our paths cross every 5 years or so. It'd be nice to see some of the others from that area of my life but I suppose other than like 2 of them I shan't see them again. Well wish me luck I'll take down the comment blocking on Myspace so y'all can leave me fun comments to come back to. And I have just one request... Don't forget me.

Nothing like chilling out watching some Music videos, and having Will Smith's song come on... from like 1993. Thats right ladies and gents, "Summertime" is on. The Video previous? David Lee Roth's "California Girls". Kinda want to go for a run, but with out company or music and the fact its going to be storming soon makes me rethink it all together. Especially if I have to go play body guard tonight. Haha wow... MTv Hits is playing all the summer themed songs for this hour, maybe more... Granted some of them suck but some of them are alright. Current song excluded... but theres some bit of me that considers it a guilty pleasure (talking about LFO- Summer Girls). Hmmm I think I may just take up the run.... just not for the 3-4 miles I was considering... though the sun's shining... fucking MI weather... anyways I'll drop some more later. If you get MTv Hits I suggest checking it out... No shit... its Blind fucking Melon on right now... anyways time to strap some shoes on my feet and head for a run.

Ok... so here's the deal. I'm still scheduled to go into the Marines. However the timing has yet again changed. Instead of going on June 19th (today) they moved me to July 10. I've also changed MOS. I'm no longer an E7/B7 (Electrical maintenance- Aeronautics), I've become a UJ (NBC). I'll keep everyone posted as things change or approach. I'm on the list for a priority replacement, so when they get a call and need a filler for the week I may get the call. So if I fall off the face of the earth await a letter or comment or something saying I've been shipped out early. Otherwise I disappear July 10.and to close a joke:

Two airmen were driving across country on leave. They come to a Marine Corps base and decide to visit. They approach the gate and the Marine Guard walks up to the driver's window, and taps on it with his nighstick. The driver rolls down the window, and the Marine smacks him in the head with
the stick. The driver says, "Why'd you do that?

The Marine says, "You're on a United States Marine Corps Base, son. When I come up to your car, you'll have your ID card ready."

Driver says, "I'm sorry, We're in the Air Force, and we didn't know."

The Marine examines the I.D. card and gives it back to the driver.

The Marine walks around to the passenger side and taps on the window. The passenger rolls his window down, and the Marine smacks him with the nightstick.

The passenger says, "What'd you do that for?"

The Marine says,"Just making your wishes come true."

The passenger says, "Huh?"

The Marine says, "I know that as soon as you pull away you're gonna say, 'I wish that sucker would've tried that stuff with me!'"

So Thursday, I went with Bue to the Coast and I was told I couldn't go in cause of my shirt. "I know it sounds retarded but for some reason our dresscode is no solid colored shirts (for men)," is what I was told by the bouncer, I was like GREAT, but luckily Bue had on a long sleeve shirt over his shirt so he gave it to me, and I was go od to go. We get in and get a few drinks with his friends, and I see two girls and I immediately comment "Damn I can't get away from the strippers" because Paris (mmmm a very hot lil blonde), and Carmen (mmm punk girl :)) were there with Paris's boyfriend and Carmen was there with Chris (the door guy at the Vu, and the only person I've ever seen swipe a license for a credit card, and I'm the only one he's ever messed it up on... 6 times over, but a really cool guy). I didn't want to draw attention to them so I held out on saying hey until they initiated it, well like a beer later Carmen runs up and gives me a big hug and says hey, and I made a joke about Sweet and Sour sauce, and tell her I was going to be doing Stripper Trivia and then Chris walks by and is pissed off so she runs to catch up with him, and I tell her I'll talk with her later. Well I go back to enjoying the night at the bar, drinking what was bought for me, but keeping sober enough (4 drinks in 2 hrs isn't drunk but its not entirely sober either) to drive home, and drop off Bue's friends and what not. Well we hung out in "Saginaw" (Fashion Sqr. area) and then we went to the Station so I could participate in Stripper Trivia. I get there, Joe's just sitting at the computer finish up a news bit and shipping it over to the actual broadcast room. Its just Joe and I, so we wait around another 15 min and he gives a call over to the Vu because there weren't any strippers nor was Jay there. Well the Vu call turned out that there weren't any girls they could get for Stripper Trivia. So I was sent home and told that I'll be contacted again possibly for next week, and I'll either win 2 prizes if I end up getting on next week otherwise I'll end up with a prize anyways. Not too shabby I guess, just glad I didn't drive all the way over to find out they weren't showing. I went home and passed out til 1420... which was an issue cause I had Physical Therapy at 1400. Ooops. I get there and they were ok with it but made jokes bout it. Oh well. Then went to the Vu last night and that went ok. Out of the girls I REALLY REALLY wanted to see I ended up getting to see 5 of them Scarlet, Morgan, Haze, Paris, and Carmen. I was hoping to see Houston, Ciara, Jessica, Janea, and Alana, but they all ended up off for the night/weekend. Oh well. Time to shower and get rid of this hack I've got going on, and figure out what I'm up to for the evening, and then figure out tomorrow. Also looking at MOSes (jobs), and i'm thinking NBC, EOD, Intel or some how getting involved with the Flight Crews (either actually Flight Chief type flight crew, or Air Traffic Controller/drone pilot type). Other options for me are MP, and Security team (hopefully with PRP). But I find out more soon. Til later Kats and Birds.

So after yesterday where things seemed to be falling apart at the seams today's doing much better. I ended up with a few hours of sleep (2) and went to the Orthopedist and he said things look normal from what he could see, and he had no reservations in clearing me for duty. So yes... this time I'm actually leaving Michigan for San Diego. Which is quasi-good news, ever get a bunch of things that happen that make you want to stick around just as you're on your way out the door? Anyways, I was sitting at the recruiters waiting for him, but he was up finishing some things up in Claire and I didn't know that til after I used the Air Forces' phone. But SSgt. Scott and I had a good conversation just about general matters, every time he sees me he harrasses me for not being gone yet, which I was starting to razz myself but oh well shit happens, and I'm leaving in 10 days (see below). But I come home pull my lap top and sit in my hammock and almost immediately I'm online (ahh hooray for neighbors who don't secure their wireless networks), some days it works wonders other days its a battle, today it was a breeze. Anyways I check my email, I had put in for Joe and the Poorboy's "Stripper Trivia" (and anyone who's known me in the last 6 months knows about me and strippers, :-D) because they take guys and bring them in and do trivia and get some of the girls in there to keep score. Well about a week ago I sent them an email seeing if by a longshot I could get on before I was supposed to leave. I was starting to get discuraged, but just brushed it off as there being alot of guys looking to get on (I have buddies who have been trying for months to get on, and have yet to even get an email back). Well I see an email asking if I could come in tomorrow, which I can :) so I'm awaiting their call to get additional information from them, I can't wait... I'm super stoked about this. It probably helps that I'm going into the Marines and they've got a drive on right now. Which reminds me- all of you out there, If you're able I want you to give to this drive. Why? Because the guys over there could use a pick up. Plus if you go to the Rally's they're at you'll get a free large fry... for the materalistic bastards out there. Also its possible that 9 months from now I could be over there, in the shit. Anyone who wants to send some goods over for tomorrow morning stop by my house (address is listed below) and drop off some goods for Operation Gratitude since I'll be heading over there anyways I can drop it off for you, alternatively you can drop it off at the Station or any Rally's (while they broadcast from the Rallys will you score free fries). Anyways I just got a call I have to go pick up a copy of all the paperwork ever done on my knee. So all the doctors' notes, all the physical therapy notes, everything. Blah... Although my order after that was to kick back with a cold one... honest to god. Anyways, I'm off to do that but leave some messages, and drop off some goods for the troops and listen for me on Stripper Trivia @ about 0520 or so. (5:20 AM for those who can't get the 24 hr clock) Take care and enjoy yourselves in this wonderful weather.

Well I realized after I got a Comment from Becky on Myspace that I hadn't filled people in on what's up with my knee. So I went back to the doctor, he ordered an MRI, got the results of that and it turns out I have a "Bone bruise" on my Fibular Head and Fibular Platue. Fantabulous. Who bruises their bones... serriously. Anyways, add that to the strained lateral-collatteral ligament and posterior cruciated ligament along with a strained meniscus, and perhaps a touch of tendinitis in my popliteus muscle. All from chinese situps? The more I think about it probably not, prolly some other pathology that just manifested finally, though I know the bone bruising came from my fibula sliding out of position and back in. As of right now I'm set to leave for Boot 20060619 (June 19th). I'll make sure that someone adds my address while I'm at boot if any one wants to write me. I can't wait to get there, from what I've been told the past 3 people who have left from here are Squad leaders at least so that'll be nice. I should be finishing up Phase I right now. Oh well 10 weeks from now I'll be starting Phase II. The more I hear about boot the less it bothers me, I think I've finally realized that it'll do me good. Plus as soon as I can I'm going to be putting my packet in for "bootstrapping" up to the O-1E pay level. Which would kick some serious ass. Oh well figured I'd update for all those who hadn't heard from me recently. Keep in touch, and as of right now my cell's deactivated so call the house (before 2330) to get a hold of me I'll drop that number in a private conversation if you don't have it. Til later, keep it real.

PS: Since we're celebrating Memorial Day here's to my Grandfather, who's among the former Marines. He recieved his Purple Heart after he was shot through the ear during the fight for Iwo Jima. Considering he was a flame thrower (avg life during a battle was 5-12 min) I'm very grateful he only took it through the ear.
